Turning the toolbox off

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by Randy Richardson, Jan 13, 2004.

  1. I attempted to search for this, because this must have been asked a thousand
times before, but I didn't have a lot of luck getting the search to work at
    the moment.

Sometimes, when I drag an object from the toolbox, it stays in the mode of
wanting to add more copies of the item that I dragged. I don't know how to
shut it off. I've struggled with this before, and after fiddling for a
while I finally shake it off, but it seems especially stubborn now.

    What do I do?

If you double click the control that you are inserting, it will allow
you to insert more than one. To clear the insertion process just click
    anywhere in the tool box.

  3. Thank you, Jeff. Tools seem to work so much better when ya understand the
controls. I finally solved the problem by shutting down AutoCAD. I like
    your solution better.

    Thanks again,
