Turning off points when using hole wizzard

    When creating a hole using the hole wizzard...somewhere there is a place to turn off the points
    so that every click doesn't result into a hole. When initially clicking the plane BEFORE using
    the hole wizzard, this is leaving a hole where I don't want it. How can you turn this feature off?

    RMB and click select.

    Esc doesn't work, it kicks you out. I would like to see it take two Esc
    presses to get out and one to turn off points.
