Is there a way in which I can take the CADD standards "manual" and turn it into something like the "Developer's Help Guide", or something similiar? Just something that the CADD Techs can pull from within AutoCAD.

Thanks, I'll try it out. Why would you use bitmaps, and not JPGs, or GIFs?

You can compile Help files, Microsoft has a basic version called HTML Help workshop

or if you have an Intranet you can make HTML docs and have your menus point there.

    (startapp "c:\\program files\\internet explorer\\iexplore.exe" "http://CAD_Help/")

you can call a specific file from a menu line.... but I'd need to research
    the syntax.

[Don't accept this as correct, but I think it was something like
    (start "OUR_STANDARDS.doc") ]

Using that as a starting point... I'd save the manual as a Word document ...
with bitmaps for illustrations... and open it from the menu in ACAD's Help
Pulldown. Place the DOC and all related BMP's in the same folder.
