in 2005, when I type or select PLOT, I get the dreaded 'hourglass' icon and that's it! What can I do? I een tried to 'Save As' - and plot that new dwg but I get the same result. OMG, HELP!

    Powermix -

In order for your peers to help you, they will need more
information. Reply giving your Autodesk software (ACAD, ADT)??.
There are many versions of "2005" out. Also what plotter/printer
do you have with what drivers, your system OS and any other
hardware configuration you care to post.

    Hardware:
    HP d530
    Pentium 4 (3.00 GHz)
    512 MB of RAM

    Software:
MS Windoze XP Pro Version 2002 (SP1)
    AutoCAD 2005

    Printer:
    Sharp AR-P350 Digital Imager
    Driver: cop_soft_AR-PK1_WinXP_PS.exe

    I think that's the driver I'm using.

This error is unique. When I plot to this printer the first time, it will work. If I try to plot to the printer again, I get an 'hourglass' and have to cancel AutoCAD and restart. Now get this, even if I restart and try to plot, AutoCAD locks up again. I have to copy the entities from the existing drawing and paste them into a new drawing and save - in order to not continue to lock up. These are just some things I have discovered in working with this issue.

Could the low RAM in my PC be an issue?
Any ideas to a solution? Thanks!
