When making PDF's from our AutoCAD drawings, I find that text is not always exported (I'm plotting using Adobe PDF Writer) as editable text but sometimes as a vector based graphic. This is fine for printing, but when viewing on the screen or in a projected presentation, this vector based text appears fuzzy and unusually thick. I'm looking for an explanation as to the different treatment of the text and a fool proof way for making sure true type fonts will read clearly for digital presentations as PDFs. (Related or not... My office just made the transition from AutoCAD 2000 to AutoCAD 2005, and the drawings I'm referencing were created using 2000 before being saved as and edited further using 2005) Many thanks. Ned
