I created a linetype that inserts a shape file that is a slope symbol. The linetype works fine in the drawing it was created in. When you go to load the linetype through the traditional linetype manager it gives this error. (it is in a dialog box on the screen) Bad definition of SLOPE-L at line 2 of the file M:library\Symbol manager\linetypes\AE.lin If I use the AutoCAD design center to load the linetype from the drawing it presides in then it loads just fine. I would like to be able to load the linetype through the linetype manager. Any advice would be appreciated. *SLOPE-L,SLOPE LEFT A,.253246,-.123275,.253246,-.123275,.253246,-.123275,.253246,-.123275,.25324 6,-.123275,[SLP-L,M:\LIBRARY\SYMBOL-MANAGER\SHAPES\AE,s=.025],.253246 *SLOPE-R,SLOPE RIGHT A,.253246,[SLP-R,M:\LIBRARY\SYMBOL-MANAGER\SHAPES\AE,s=.025],-.123275,.25324 6,-.123275,.253246,-.123275,.253246,-.123275,.253246,-.123275,.253246 THESE ARE THE LINETYPES THAT IS IS HAVING TROUBLE WITH
Are the linebreaks as shown in your .lin file, or did they occur as a result of posting with your newsreader? If the former, note that theres a linefeed between the last two digits of one of your "pen down" values in each definition. ___
