    Hi

A lot of my drawings are huge and I want to utilize the TREEDEPTH command.
From what people have been telling me it's very useful for large 3d
drawings. Orbiting is faster when the setting is changed.

The default value is 3020 but I want it to go to -3020 everytime. Is there
a easyway to set this everytime I start AutoCAD?...or would it be wise not
to set it? I am not to familar with the TREEDEPTH command
    Thanks

Just put (setvar "treedepth" -3020) in Acad.lsp or the other auto start
files. I'm not sure that turning off 3d will help in a 3d drawing. If it
does please tell me and I'll do it too.

  3. If you put the (setvar "treedepth" -3020) in the acad.lsp file, make sure
you also add (setvar "acadlspasdoc" 1).
The second setvar will tell AutoCAD to set this for every drawing loaded,
not just the first drawing loaded.
