    Hi,
    we're hiting a funny glitch in 2005

we have an assembly with subassemblies in it, one of which had
transparency adjusted after a box beeing drawn around the whole part to

select ALL faces. the assembly has multiple configurations. this
assembly was built in 2003 and has been resaved in 2005 for rework.

what happens is, on one configuration, the dome is transparent to the
asemblies inside, but somehow makes the base be invisible through the
    dome
in another configuration, some assemlies inside are visible , some
    aren't
in another, some of the inside assemblies are visible through the side,

but not the top (you get the Casper through te wall efftec)
    anyone else had this?

SWX introduced a transparency bug in 2004 that has been reported fixed
twice but really has not been fixed, even in 2005. Specifically, when
color is applied at the assembly level and then the assembly is placed
into a larger assembly (ie becomes a subassembly) it can no longer be
made transparent. This may be related to what you're seeing?
