I am planning on purchasing a Tablet computer for home use. I am
checking out the potential compatability issues if I go for one with
the Transmeta Crusoe processor. I can find no information regarding
its compatability with any CAD programs at all.

I understand that I am always safest going with Intel, but something
inside me makes me want to go for the underdog... as long as the
    underdog can do the job.

  2. No experience with the Crusoe, but I did run SolidWorks very effectively on
the Motion Computing tablet. The system I used at the time was the M1200 -
866MHz - 512MB Ram. Graphics were adequate, nothing eye-popping. Speed was
what you would expect from the processor. The pen input was surprisingly
intuitive, especially when sketching and mating parts in assemblies. I did a
write-up for SSM, Mar/Apr 03 issue (good luck finding archives on their site
    now).

Would I trade my desktop/laptopm? Not yet.
