tool palette overrides in batch mode?

    Just got the trial for Autocad 2005, my question is:

    I have a directory of dwg files (blocks) that i want to make into a
    palette, that was easy enough, but if i want to assign rotation (yes)
    and a layer and color to it, i have to do the properties for EACH one!
    I must be missing something. How can I apply the same layer and color
    and rotation (yes) to all the items (dwgs) within a palette?
