thumbnal preview (retry)

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by Marcel Janmaat, Feb 11, 2005.

  1. Earlier I posted this;

Is there an easy way to create a thumbnail preview in my own lisp/dcl code?
Like with dos_dwgpreview is the case, but then in my own lsp/dcl code.
Perhaps with an image_tile an then sending the thumbnail to that tile?

Unfortunately I still haven't got anything to work with.
Perhaps it is not posible to do this.

    Maby someone can tell me...

  2. hoi,
    have a look at
    http://www.cushat.co.uk/fw/li/,
used to be on reini urban's website. you run a windows executable from
your lisp, and the executable creates a slide. the slide can be loaded
    into an image_tile.

mischien is dat wat je gezocht heeft.

  3. No, there's no way display thumbnail previews
using DCL. You need to consider branching out
and using other tools, or have a look at ObjectDCL
(don't know if that will even do it).

Yeah, you'll need to consider ObjectDCL which can handle dwgpreviews and
    jpg's,etc.

I've been using it, and it's the best investment you to consider...
