Isn't this book getting a little long in the tooth? I have a copy and
use it regularly as a reference, but it predates Verilog 2001...

That's why it's so cheap ... "HDL Book Seller" must have a few boxes
that the publisher won't take back.

  4. Hi -- this is the 4th edition and not the 5th, but the differences
between the two are minimal and for those looking for an inexpensive
Verilog reference, it's a great deal. Verilog 2001 adds some useful
extensions, and you can get a good summary here:

    http://csg.csail.mit.edu/6.375/papers/sutherland-verilog2001-hdlcon00.pdf

You can get the extra few pages in the 5th edition by buying it online
at Amazon.com. Several buyers told me they decided to buy the 4th
edition, print out the differences and pocket the $70 difference. :)

As of today we're down to the last 6 copies.

    Cheers
