the correct way to set up a plotter for pdf

    I am having trouble with the paper sizes changing on me when set up a plotter in the plotter meager. the printable area sizes change subtly each time i add a new layout.

    what is the correct way to make a plotter for large paper sizes such as 18x24 or 24x36?
