Just wanted to say thanks Paul for the tip regarding scaling that I found searching the archives (copied below). Solved my problem after stuffing around for hours. I figured there must be a way to do this, but the Autosketch help files were about as much use as a can of air freshener at a pig farm - as usual. Rob. Reply From: Jackson, Paul Date Jun/04/01 - 17:17 (GMT) OK, Try this You will be using the Transform Scale tool. Your problem is that you do not know the value to put into the edit bar as the Scale factor. Highlight the entity/s you want to re size. Highlight the Scale Factor Go to mouse mode with [Ctrl] + [Enter] Click two known points on the entity to be resized Now do one of th efollowing two options 1. click the corresponding points that are true to size on the original, or 2. press[=] and enter the correct size then OK With either of these the new scaling factor will now be displayed. If it is out of scale in two directions, do the above twice X and Y, saving the first answer [ctrl]+[C], and then tick next to the Scale factor box to enter the saved value either before or after the comma. THAT will do what you want, you may however need to reposition your rescaled entities into position after selecting the Base Point. follow the instructions in the bottom left corner. Paul Jackson
