Text won't plot

Something different has started happen to me in the last two days.
When plot a drawing, the line work comes out OK, but no text. I get out of
AutoCAD & then get back in and the drawing will plot fine. Has anyone ever
had this happen and what was your work around?

No (or at least very rarely). Dean's point was to try to get you to give a
few specifics, so someone might be able to make an educated guess at what
might be causing the problem.

Many of the problems are related to which drivers/printers/versions are in
use. For example, I have a problem with the letter N plotting as a square.
Autodesk says it happenes with HP 5000/8000 printers with 2000/2000i when
using the Windows system driver.

Could have something to do with your cable and/or connection.
I've had a similar text (and Image) problem - but only if I don't power up a
scanner that the printer cable runs thru. My days of buying new hardware
before I had to are over.
