    Hi there,
I have a simple question here. For some reason, our software, that uses dxf
files as a background map, doesn't read text.
Is there a convinient way to change text into polyline. I've tryed explode,
    but it doesn't work.

    Thanks

  2. Change the width of the text ever so slightly, like 1.000001. Use
    WMFOUT,
WMFIN, scale up, usually by 2, if necessary explode, place a box around
    the
text, change to another layer, use boundary and select appropriately,
    lock
    that layer, erase the remaining.

There is an express tools utility that explodes text to lines.
