Text-based stimulus in AMS

Hi,

I run AMS from the ADE and like it very much. I'd like to be able to
use text-based stimuli by adding an external file with all of my
voltage sources. This seems simple, but I can't figure out how to do
it. Does anyone know how this would work?

By AMS do you mean Mentor AMS Designer or Eldo ?

We use Eldo and edit text stimulus files using Setup->Edit Include
File.

 

Hi,
If you add the files just like you add model files in the Setup->Model
Files, then you can divide your patterns into sections just like the
tech divides into slow, fast, nominal etc. You even have a fast
"edit" button which fires up your favourite editor to edit the file.

This doesn't work with corner simulation, though, but if you put the
files into the Include file part of the Setup->environment (or
whatever, I am on top of my head) Then you will have those files
included in corner sim also.
