Once I have created a drawing, is there some way change the template that I
started with. What I mean by this is I have a dozen drawings, and they all
need to have the same template, but some have a different templateee. How
do I make them all have the same template without re-doing the drawing?

  2. A template is a starter drawing and you can't swap that by definition. But,
you can do a RMB on the sheet and replace the sheet format. When you do
that, any custom properties that are defined in the format, and also exist
in the drawing are not replaced. So, if you want to update properties, you
have to delete them first. If you want the current property settings to
    stay, then define them first.
