System freezes when previewing or plotting certain drawings

    I am running AutoCadd 2000 on win2000 pro with all of the service packs for Autocadd that I can find install,
    I have a 1,8Ghz system with 256m ram. I am using an HP7596A plotter.
    On certain drawings if I preview or try and plot them to the HP the system freezes. The cpu usage goes to 100% and the only way to get back into Cadd is to end the task and restart AutoCad. Any suggestions.
