Take the time to start your own NewsGroup.

People who like that sort of thing would flock to your new Newsgroup.

Or, you might start your own site so you can get advertising revenue.

You might need to crosspost that where they can see it ...

    Then go to

    www.SolidMentor.com

I have a forum, it is moderated for trolls and trolls only. I currently
do not have advertisers and plan on not having any as it is hard to
properly review products and services if you are in bed with them for
their advertising dollar.(I cant wait to see what some will say about me
doing this for free and that I must work for SW or some other B.S. that
they try and troll me with)

You have to log in to the site, but that makes it easier for me to get
rid of the trolls. If you are at the site and see trolling let me know
    and I will ban them.

The forum and wiki are now getting some moderate use and the site is
just under 1000 registered users so in theory if some people stop just
watching and participating in the site and forum it could some day be as
good as this forum was a few years back.

    Ben,

Why don't you focus on making better SolidWorks videos and
contributing more to this newsgroup rather than trying to steal
    posters / rape it?

I think the above post gives some serious clues as to what is wrong.

Life is too short to put up with B.S., but you have to live long
enough to understand, and until you get to 40 the simple true words
"Life is too short" mean & register NOTHING.

Sure does show what's wrong. It's a desire by others to rape this
newsgroup and get posters to move to a protected environment where
they don't have to deal with reality.

You think Ben Eadie is ever going to post what's wrong with Matt
Lombard / The SolidWorks Bible? I sure don't!

You want the truth about SolidWorks, The SolidWorks Bible, etc. this
is the only place your going to get it.

If you don' t think that's the truth, Bo you don't know Diddley. ;>)

Your biased opinions are not truth Jon. Your version of the truth is
often just your beginner clueless banquer rants, where you seem to
post every time your brain farts.

    Ignorant:

Someone who has a proven track record of not being able to deal with
or accept the kind of change that occurs in the cadcam market... now
that's ignorant or should we say that's Tom Brewer.

    Ignorant:

Someone who doesn't live in San Diego yet insists there is no shortage
of CNC machinists here... now that's ignorant or should we say that's
    Tom Brewer.

    Ignorant:

Someone who criticizes someone on SolidWorks but has never helped
anyone with specific SolidWorks answers. Someone who is not able to
answer any questions that "Vinny" had on master modeling or skeletal
modeling. Someone who has never posted any models they have done...
now that's ignorant or should we say that's Tom Brewer.

    Ignorant:

Tom Brewer's failure to understand who Matt Lombard really is.

    Ignorant:

Someone who can't understand more than a simple "I love it!" or "I
hate it!" type of comment ... now that's ignorant or should we say
    that's Tom Brewer.

Tom Brewer has in many ways become just like Cliffy and that's what
    "Reverse Stalking" does to someone.

Perhaps Tom Brewer, like Cliffy, now desires to become more like
    me! :>)

Kudos Jon, you finally learned how to properly quote.

How many years did it take you to learn?
Have to brake down and buy a video tutorial did ya?

Could have trained a retard in less time..........but comparing you to
a retard is giving retards the world over a bad name.

Tom Brewer is a SolidWorks expert. A SolidWorks expert is someone who
knows more and more about less and less until he knows absolutely
    everything about nothing.

Did you read the Author's notes before you bought the SolidWorks 2007
    Bible?

Did you read the Author's notes before you started criticizing the
    book?

First off the Author states in his notes, the bible is a desk
reference for intermediate & advanced users. You are not in that group
    Jon.

The Author clearly states his book is an in depth look at
functionality, answering the "why" and how things work, not like
tutorial based beginners books that simply show what buttons to push.
Then Jon after reading some of the book you say you wished the book
was more tutorial based (for beginners).

You also expressed your opinion that the author should show more
advanced features earlier in the book. Where the author explains you
need to understand the basics, be grounded in the basics before you
    move on to advanced features.

The truth in your opinion Jon is what YOU believe and what YOU have to
say. Your opinions however are mostly clueless rants on SolidWorks and
the SolidWorks 2007 Bible. Every once in a while you accidentally get
something right which is more often than not something you parroted or
plagiarized from others that you post as your original content.

You only turned on Matt and the SolidWorks 2007 Bible when Matt asked
for input on SolidWorks and said don't bother responding if your name
is Jon, Cliff or Neil or any of their aliases.

How can that be Jon? I never said anything about "real price paid in
    the market".

    Care to explain?

Guess the real question is why YOU need to make false accusations?

Tom Brewer And Joe788 "Logic" Examined:

    You purchase a new computer.

You post it's a fast wonderful computer that does a great job for the
software you're running at the time!

    Three years go by.

You post the computer you purchased three years ago is slow and will
no longer do the job and that this computer now sucks at running your
cadcam software. You also post that you have moved on to a new
computer made by someone else and it's great!

Tom Brewer / Joe788 use these postings to try and make the case that
the person posting is an idiot.

It's not hard to see who the ignorant idiot's are.

    are Tommy Girl.

"In general, there is a lot of information in this book, but I find if
very difficulty to read, follow and understand."

"Sometimes, the most intelligent people have the hardest time
explaining and simplifying ideas and topics. The book is written for

    Jon,

As I pointed out earlier and numerous times that you have our
positions reversed. Nice try at revising your history but it's here
    for all to see.

You take the position Jon from your pervious posts that SW-1998 you
liked, then after years of development, improvements and enhancements
you say SW-2006 is a "Complete Piece Of Shit".

    Exhibit A:

"For the record I like SolidWorks" Jon Banquer April 10, 1998

    Exhibit B:

"Without a doubt SaladWorks is a complete piece of shit" - Jon
    Banquer - May 21, 2006

    -------------------------

So please tell us what made SW-1998 good and SW-2006 such a piece of
    shit?

    -----------------------
    Remember this?

"I've been away from SolidWorks for almost ten years. At this point I
spend the majority of my day on SolidWorks 2007. The program has
changed so much in ten years that I'm still way behind where I need to
    be." - Jon Banquer - Aug. 26, 2007

So what were you basing your opinions these past years, especially
since you didn't know or use SolidWorks at the time?

I see I need to update the list with:

Tom Brewer's is so ignorant that he is unable comprehend that
SolidWorks Corp should have added Multi-body support years earlier
than they did. Because SolidWorks Corp. waited so long lots of small
machining job shops either temporarily turned away from SolidWorks or
used other products to augment SolidWorks. For example some shops
    decided to purchase VX.

    The question was:

Did you read the Author's notes?

Did YOU read the Author's notes?

Did YOU READ the Author's notes?
Just like you to fall for a publishers sales blurb on the back cover
and not look any deeper. Guess this is also your way of saying no, you
did not read the Author's notes, not then and not now. So let me help
    you a little.
    -----------------
    Authors notes,

"The SolidWorks 2007 Bible is an 1100 page desk reference volume
written by Matt Lombard of Dezignstuff. It is an in depth look at
SolidWorks functionality, answering the "why does this work this way"
questions, not just describing the button pushes like the basic
introduction books. The SolidWorks Bible is intended primarily for
intermediate and advanced users, although there is also some material
    for beginners"

A person in San Diego on a warm summer Sunday who has nothing more to
do that post non-stop in a thread started to suggest where Trolls
should go is a virtual definition of a troubled phsychological
    position associated with "Trollitis".

Just ain't normal, to put it gently. But then this psych condition is
one noted by the Troll's inability to see the world through anyone
    else's eyes.
