    Hi,

I have atm a question, i have atm 12 x AutoCAD 2002 Licenses on a server running that goes well.

The question is, I have installed the licenses on a new server and got a new license.lic file from Autodesk, but how let I the 12 clients know about the new license server ?
Can i just change some registry keys or do i have to reinstall the clients from the new server ?

    Thanks,

    Joek Muit

  2. In the AutoCAD executable directory you will find a file named LICPATH.LIC.
Edit this file to reflect the new server's name then update each client with
    the new LICPATH.LIC.

Also check if the ADSKFLEX_LICENSE_FILE environment variable is set on your
clients. You can check this by typing SET in a Command Prompt window. If
the variable is set then it must be updated to reflect the new server name
    as well.
