    Dear All,

Who knows how to sweep a helix along a guide spline?

  2. Try a surface sweep. You can then thicken the surface if you need Insert /
Boss/Base / Thicken. I am not quite sure what kind of result you are
    looking for though.

    Dear All,

What I am trying to achieve is the following:

Imagine a hose running along a spline that has a variable direction.
In the hose is a metal wire giving support. The wire is swept along
the spline in the form of a helix.

  5. Mike Wilson might:

Check out Curve Driven Patterns on Page 2. You might also want to look at
the Adjustable Curved Helix on Page 5, but it might just look like a helix.
