SW2008 ft-in format

Discussion in 'SolidWorks' started by Wayne Tiffany, Dec 6, 2007.

  1. We have one person now using SW2008 and his drawing dims are coming in as
3'2 1/16". Notice that there is no dash after the 3' as in 3'-2 1/16".
Does anyone know how to make this happen? In reading the Help file, it
looks like the dash is the SW standard and if you have an imported drawing
that doesn't have them, you can convert it to put them in, but not remove
them. So it appears to be a bug that we don't have them, but I wanted to
    ask before crying wolf.

    Wayne,

I am pretty sure this is a bug. Rob Rodriguez was talking about this
over on Eng-Tips I believe. I would pester SW about it.... :)

    Cheers,

  3. It is a confirmed bug and not fixed in SP1. We can't move to 2008
    until this is resolved.

  4. Ok, thanks. Hmmm, could be a problem for the shop.
