I'm creating some drawings of my assemblies and I'm flummoxed. The
assemblies I'm detailing have more than one configuration and SWx
insists on inserting the configuration name before QTY in the quantity
column. Can this behavior be disabled? If so, how?

    Thanks a lot,

  2. Easy - remove the period after QTY (note lack of period).

    Ken,
Using 2006 open up you r template and go to tools/options and choose the
    Document properties tab.
To right choose 'Tables'. Bottom right you will see a few check boxes to do
with BOMs one is "Don't copy QTY name from template".
Does this do what you want.

Thank you so much. How in the world did you figure this out?

I'm using 2007 so I don't think this applies. Thanks anyway.
