SW2004 blocks & centermarks

  1. Interesting - you dont' have to hit <ENTER> to not lose your blocks any
more. However, you do for centermarks.

could you expand a little? i'd like to insert acad blocks into a sw drawing
without getting centermarks, how is this done using either '03 or '04?

  3. I think these are 2 different subjects - my post was dealing with the actual
insertion of the objects and how the "accept" aspect has changed.

To answer your question directly, you can insert ACAD blocks straight up,
and when I did a test, I didn't get any centermarks. So, my guess is that
you need to go to Document properties/Detailing and turn off "Auto insert on
    view creation" of center marks.

  5. It had one, but I just tried one with lots of circles in it and all was
well. Email me one of your blocks and I'll try it.

  7. I just tried the one you sent and it worked fine - I couldn't make it put in
    centermarks. I'm out of ideas.

just tried on a different pc, no centermarks. btw, auto insert centermarks
(on or off) has no effect.

now if i could just figure out what's causing it on my pc.

  10. I just tried it on 2003 4.0. 5.0 & 5.1 and all work ok. One thing you might
try is to export the registry key and stuff it into yours (make a backup of
yours first.) It would be nice to figure out what's causing it, so maybe go
through both of them one page at a time to try to figure it out. Keep us
    informed.
