SW2003, BOM & Excel 2003 doesn't work

    I have a new box in which I have installeed Win XP, SW2003, and MS
    Office 2003.
    I can't get the BOM to work with the Office 2003.
    I get 'Failed to Launch Server Operation' error.
    I even tried to have Excel 2003 already open.

    Anyone else have this problem or know how to make it work?

    I don't think SW03 supports Excel 2003. SW04 does I believe.

    Is any of this on the network? Is it available? I presume you tried a
    reboot.....

    The Bill of materials Properties dialogue box comes up and then
    an error message:

    "Failed to launch server application"

    wilth an 'OK' button. I hit 'OK' and get

    "Error creating Bill of Materials"
    with another 'OK' button.

    No network. I did reboot. It is win XP sp1
