How are people going with SW 2005 3.1 ?
Its been out for a very short time.
Has it solved some of your issues, has it reduced crashes ?

    Kind Thanks

I've been working on a complex plastic part, about 160 Mb, 550 features,
using quite a bit of surfacing, some imported, multibodies, etc, with a
small assembly of mating parts using between 1.1 and 1.5 Gb of memory,
and I've only crashed once in the last week and a half.

I'm a firm believer that crashing is mainly a function of your
installation and setup, including OS and other software, not just
    Solidworks.
