I design and build custom cabinetry for a living, I am exploring the idea
of using Autocad to develope perspective views of my plans to show clients.
I currently do all my designing in Autocad 2002 but only in 2D.
I have dabbled a bit now with Autocad's 3D capabilities. I am wondering
which is the best way to draw my work. Mostly flat surfaces of cabinets with
lots of mouldings. The mouldings are brought into the drawing as blocks.
As I understand it, if I want to be able to get perspective views, I need to
draw it out in 3D. Is this kind of work best done as a 3D solid, or would I
be better off working it out in surface modeling. I have done some drawings
using surface modeling, and it seems a bit laborious. Although I admit I am
still in the beginning of my 3D learning curve.
    Input would be appreciated
