Supress Unsupress Dialogue

Discussion in 'SolidWorks' started by Corey Scheich, Sep 23, 2004.

  1. Anybody want to see a dialogue that would allow you to supress and unsupress
mates in one foul swoop. I am modifying a slooooowwww assembly and when
editing different configs I need to Supress and unsupress a set of mates.
This wouldn't be too much of a problem but SW wants to rebuild after each
change. I want to just change their states in one move and rebuild once.
Would this be helpfull for anyone else.

  2. Actually I had forgotten that I had written a simple macro to prevent
rebuilds. I am now using it for this issue.

If anyone needs it I would be glad to share.

  3. Hello Corey,

I think I'd like it. Does it work okay on 2004 and 2005, to your knowledge?

    Sincerely,

I'd love that dialogue. does it give lists of mates for ea. config and
the option to turn on/off? We all work on big models, slow to rebuild
with lots of configs and rubbish PC's. :)

    Let me at it!!!!

  6. Oh it hasn't been created but you could submit an enhancement request. If I
find time I will add it to my Create these apps list.

  7. I don't think there would be any problems with 2005 I haven't read what has
changed but the code that is used has been around forever.
