Subtracting solids

    I would like to know if there is a way to subtract a solid from multiple solids without the original solids grouping together.

    Yes. Just use the SUBTRACT command; select as many objects as you want to
    subtract from; then select the object to be subtracted. Of course the latter
    object must intersect all of the former ... or am I missing something in
    your question?

    You can use Separate in the solid editing tools to separate them.

    Oh ... you're probably referring to the fact that the original solids become
    "grouped" *after* the operation. One way to achieve what you want is to make
    a copy of the part to be subtracted for each of the objects to be subtracted
    from, then do a separate SUBTRACT for each pair of objects.

    It is an option under, SOLIDEDIT, (BODY, SEPARATE). There is an icon in the
    solid edit toolbar that takes you straight to separate. R2002 and R2004.
