I know that I have seen a post on this in the past and I wish that I had
paid more attention. I have a consultant that has sent me a background that
was done in a student version of the software. I have tried to wblock the
drawing into a professional version and when I try to plot it I still get
the tag that pops up saying that it was done with a student version. Can
anyone tell me how I can fix the issue besides having the consultant redraw
the project in a full version. Any Info would help out immensly thanks.

None legal. Either have the consultant upgrade to a full version or drop him.

You should buy a copy of IntelliCAD. It is as good a program, for a 1/10th
of the cost. And if you know AutoCAD, you know IntelliCAD. It's also more
compliant with AutoCAD, then AutoCAD. You can save an AutoCAD .dwg back to
    version 2.4.
