Store Name Value pair

Do any body know how to store name value pair data inside AutoCAD. One method is to store in X record both as independent data one at even index and other at odd index. retrieve and use as per index. Is it the only method or is there any other direct method to do this inside autocad. This is available in AutoDesk Inventor as attribute as name value pair.

You can choose to store information as a custom property in the
document's SummaryInfo object. If you're already using XRecords, you can
simply combine the two as a comma-delimited string and stor that string
as a single value.
