In acad2004, i'm looking for the location of the startup suite's list of
    apps to load.

In 2000, it was located in the registry - (strcat
    "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Autodesk\\Autocad\\R15.0\\Acad-1:409\\Profiles
    \\" (getvar "CPROFILE") "\\Dialogs\\Appload\\Startup" ), but i can't seem to
find it in the registry at all for 2004.

Anyone know where this is stored in 2004?

    Thanks,
    Daron

    In 2005, it is:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\AutoCAD\R16.1\ACAD-xxx:xxx\Profiles\ProfileName\Dialogs\Appload\Startup\

If that's not it, open your 2004, add something to the startup suite, close AutoCAD, then search the registry (starting at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk) for the app you added.

very strange. in the registry under my current profile, there is no
Appload\... under Dialogs, yet startup suite is being saved, and
restarted/reloaded. the last entry under Dialogs is
'AecGuibase40-ListCtrlColumns Display Properties (Door...etc. No additional
    dialog info is there.

if i start a new profile, Appload\... exists with Startup contents.

very strange. there must be 30 or more entries missing here. any
    suggestions?

    thanks,
    Daron

    In 2005, it is:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\AutoCAD\R16.1\ACAD-xxx:xxx\Profiles\Prof
    ileName\Dialogs\Appload\Startup\

If that's not it, open your 2004, add something to the startup suite, close
AutoCAD, then search the registry (starting at
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk) for the app you added.

also, there are multiple entries under Dialog that start
    'AecGuibase40-ListCtrlColumns...'

i deleted them all from the .arg file, deleted the profile acad and from the
registry, restarted acad and reloaded the profile. everything is there.

    thanks,
    Daron
