Startup Suite loading twice

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by Jorge Jimenez, Sep 16, 2003.

  1. Hi everyone.
I know this has been asked before, but I can´t seem to find the answer here.

Anybody know how to stop the Startup Suite from loading a vlx twice. ?

If it's a bug in the startup suite, does anybody know of another SURE way of
loading an application (vlx) ONLY once during AutoCAD's startup ?

    TIA.

  2. I thought that acad.lsp was supposed to do that. Provided acadlspasdoc=0.

  3. Thanks Miichael.

This vlx of mine, launches a VB DLL in application space.
So it should only be loaded once.
The problem with acad.lsp is that the user can easily change the
    acadlspasdoc

As a workaround, I'm checking if the DLL is already loaded to avoid loading
it again, but I'd prefer a SURE way to launch the application only once.
