    Whats the deal? I turned on the startup box by going to

    Format --> Properties

    I went to the system tab and choose "show startup dialog box" in the general
    options section.

    Yet when i open AutoCAD it doesnt show it! AGHHH!

    anyone know what the deal is?

    If a default template has been selected, the QNEW command does not show the
    startup dialog.
    The default template is set in the Options dialog, in the File tab.
