Start point of a pline - repost

    If I use the following to determine the start point of a pline
    (thanks to cj fullmer for help with this..) Is there anyway of
    using the same user
    selected points to set the endpoint of the pline as being 50mm
    from the second point selected without asking to select an
    endpoint again?
    (Does this make any sense...?)

    (setq pt1 (C:cal "pld(mid,mid,50)"))(command ".pline" pt1);
