Fair enough, I agree and would not put you in the same hothouse!
Sometime I just want everyone to get along - seems more constructive in
the long run. btw I'm not a fanboy - I consider myself a realist is
    all.

I believe that we all agree that we would like to see higher quality
from SW. I myself believe that SW could do a better job but from my
perspective SW has made fairly good efforts to add new features and to
keep the quality as high as possible.

However, my perspective, (a former Inventor user) is a little slanted.
IV. And there were plenty of obvious issues that could have been
improved. Almost no progress over a three year period for the averag
user and the level of bugs seemed to be considerably worse then what I
    have found with SW upgrades.

Probably the best thing that we can do is keep our critcisms as
constructive as possible and hopefully this will have some influence
    with SW.

Definitely not true. I was was complaining about not being able to use
configurations in Library features for a few years, and in SW2003 (???)
SolidWorks put that functionality into Library features. I don't know if
they thought that configs in Library features was unnecessary or if they
just decided to put it out and add to it later. Either way it is a good
feature to have. Was it perfect when it was implemented? No. But things
    seldom are.
    That's just one example.

  5. Actually, the little jerk has made some valid points. If he would lighten up
a bit he could be a useful member of the group.

On the other hand, I've never kill-filed Jon or Cliff, so I must have an
    incredibly high pain threshold.

Having people in a killfile is like having a screened in porch on a
summer evening - the bugs are out but they can't get you.... ahhhh!
