    Spherical Mapping in PhotoWorks--- arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhew

Has anyone got a step by step guide on how to do this?

I can not get the poles to line up no matter what I do.

    Regards

    Thanks Rob

That was the guide I was working through. I can not get the mapping to
align not matter what boxes I check or numbers I enter.

After doing a Google search, on this group, I found Ed Eaton was having
the similar trouble some time back.

I was hoping someone had figured it out.

I have succeeded with the "Enable spherical environment" but was trying
for more control with mapping materials to a room-- without any success.

PS have been keeping an eye on your site, looking forward to learning
more. Still thinking of switching to Maxwell render - they may update
    their software more often.

I feal your pain John - I get a sinking feeling everytime I turn on PW
    - and in the sw2006 I tried the reflective background etc was
completely bust - I hope the final 2006 sp0 version it is fixed.

The maxwell plugin for sw2006 is out and works of a fashion - the
improved plugin is expected literally in days. Textures are now
possible using the SW textures but decals are still under development.
Render times are faster but still not fast - however as an example I
am designing a product that is white and in PW it is a nightmare
getting it looking right - but one render in Maxwell (even full of
noise) was enough to convince a client that the shape was the way to
    proceed.
