I bought a Spacepilot a while ago. Back then the driver seemed to be
buggy and I just stopped using it. Is anyone on this list using one
today with current drivers? And, if so, what do you think about it?
Should I bother to re-install the drivers and try again or just put it
    on eBay?

I bougt mine about a year ago, when I switched to XP64bit and my old
space mouse gave up. Use it all the time and can hardly work without
    it.

I've got 2 of them and haven't had any driver issues with 2007 or 2008,
UG or Solidedge. Plus the newer drivers will work with Acrobat, Google
earth and some other programs too.

  4. I had mine stolen awhile back and REALLY missed it until it was replaced.
So, yes, I use mine on XP64 and it works very well.

OK, from the feedback it seems that I should give it another try. I
bought mine pretty much as soon as they came out. I don't know what
the driver was doing, but it definitely bogged down the machine (3GHz
    dual core, XP32 Pro)

They are just EIA-232 interface devices, about the same as a mouse.
Check for bad cable, try other port, try on another box, etc.
