Save as PDF I think was causing a crash but that's the only reason.

that's disappointing, I thought surfaces might get some attn too - in fact I
would rather see this sp back in a couple of weeks rather than a few days.

I doubt that seriously, Scott. I mean I really do.
See the thread entitled "sp2 kills BOM". Even though there were two
people who haven't had that (bad) experience with SP2.0 there were two
others who did have the experience. There was a fix for the problem
with "save as PDF", which was reinstalling the PDF software, and
SolidWorks wouldn't pull a major SP for such a reason anyway. I'm like
Phil Evans who questions why such things happen at all when SolidWorks
allows a vanguard to test their SPs out in the "real world" before they
ever get to the released stage. There's still something really bad
going on in SolidWorks HQ after all this time after the "three Amigos"
meeting up there in Concord. I don't know for sure what it is, but I
think it has a person's name and it has me worried about the whole
    future of the company.

WOW! - I think you might need to elaborate on that statement...

Nope . . . I've said about as much as I want to say there. To those who
    have ears, let them hear.

Just FYI, since one or two people have emailed me privately wanting to
know "the scoop". There IS NO SCOOP. I don't know any more than the
average outsider. I just have a specific perception of certain people
who work at SolidWorks Corp and my opinion hasn't changed a lot over
time, except to be reinforced by my perception of events. That's ALL.

I got that information from SW yesterday about the SP2.0 and why it was
pulled. Just relating to you guys what I was told, to why.
Did you ever get a document together after that meeting? I never saw it if
you did. Don't care about this scoop your talking about. I'm just wondering
about the Document you said you was going to write after the first "Three
    Amigo's meeting with SW.

    Kind Regards,
    Scott
