    Hello

I'm new to Autocad but not new to an CAD-System.
I would like to see a part of my drawing with a defined angle on my
screen. I can rotate my drawing, but this changes my coordinates. I'm
shure that there is a possibility to change the screen coordinates
without changing the coordinates of my points. That's one of the
Reasons why i use a CAD, but i don't find this in Autocad.
Anyone knows how i can reach my goal.

    Thanks Uwe

  2. If you are talking about a 2d drawing, rotate the UCS so that Y is up in the
view you want and then issue the PLAN command. Your coordinate system can
then be returned so that y is no longer pointing up in the current view. If
you are going to return to this view, save it. The return trip will be much
    shorter.
