Location: 10 miles SW of Allentown, Pa

Job Title : SolidWorks- Machine Design

Description:

Designs, draws, consults on the building of, trouble-shooting of,
installs and services custom and standard equipment in accordance with
standard practices and guidelines determined by the management team.

Responsibilities:

·Design equipment to meet the predetermined specifications of the
engineering team
·Utilize Solidworks in the design of equipment
·Convert prototype applicators into production machinery
·Write field retrofit instructions, operation and preventative
maintenance manuals.
·Design applicators for ease of operation, ease of maintenance, and
ease of manufacturing
·Develop cost effective manufacturable solutions for existing
equipment.

Qualifications:

·Five years of machine design experience
·Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written
·Able to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, and / or
government regulations
·Able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure
manuals
·Able to effectively present information and communicate with a wide
range of people from the company president to machine operators
·Reasoning ability
-Able to interpret an extensive variety of technical illustrations in
mathematical or
diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
