Thats the whole point of Solidworks World. Specialized information. You
have experts from their field come in and present their best
techniques. I didnt have to use weldments and sheet metal till very
recently. I was able to pull up old Solidworks World sessions that I
had attended to get that info when I needed it -confident that it was a
    best practise presentation.

Believe it or not perhaps engine design is not the most convincing
application of Marks knowledge and skill set. There are many
commonalities to plastic parts designs and that has been what Mark has
presented on the last few years. Perhaps some of the fellows from
Keonigsegg would give a better demonstration of engine design for you
Then kindly dont attend this particular presentation. But from what I
remember MBs presentations are mostly standing room only. So please
dont think that you are talking for everybody.

Listen- why in the world is drawing a straight line relevent in any way
to design? Its called CAD- its an innovation that saves you from having
to draw straight lines and arcs for a living. Yes- freeform is a
different mindset but the best designers use both approaches- as many
    as possible.
