smoothing at the point of joint of curve and line

    Hai every one,

    I am using VB to draw autocad objects.
    Here i need to join a line and curve.
    but at the joint it should not appear as a joint

    I mean at the point of joint , it must be smooth and it should not be
    seen as a joint.
    How can I do this.
