smooth 3d cylinder --- How?

    AutoCAD 2005 NEWBIE
    -----------------------

    if you created a 3D cylinder and viewed it from the front,
    the edges of the faces that made up the vertcal surface of the cylinder
    are visible so that it doesn't look like a smooth cylinder line
    drawing.
    How can i change that?
