I use Solidworks for my day job, but also have some some uses at home.
I do a bit of model engineering and would like to design my projects
in Solidworks. Althought there are lots of standard threads for smart
holes/fixings the standards I want are not available. I want to use
BA sizes and also ME threads, also with the BA bolts I want some
fixings with one size smaller heads (that is a 7BA bolt with an 8BA
head size, for example). I'd also like to have rivets as a fixing as
    well as nuts and bolts.

Does anyone know of a library (if that's the right term) for these
type of fixings. Failing that how difficult is it to program in your
own smart fixings and thread details? Is there a tutorial somewhere
    that I could work through.

Sorry if my terminology is a bit off, but I don't realy have any use
for these features at work -and I only tend to learn what I need to do
the job in hand. (the new belt association in sketching is great fun
though, and I dont really need that either!).

    Thanks
    Kevin
