There isn't a real question here; I know that this has been a problem for
many users. This is just a vent. I'm getting old using the new plot
    dialog.

    Thanks,

I use 2004 so I guess I have something to look forward too, huh?
Are there additional plot steps or is it just slow as hades?

The dialog is different so you'll need to get used to where things are, not
bad at all. The slowness comes from the number of CTB files in our path.
We have WAY too many and AutoCAD has to read them all or something.
Autodesk seemed to have fixed this when 2004 came out, but now it's slow
again. I've removed most of the CTB's and the plot dialog is much quicker
    now.

    Thanks for the tip.
Fortunately, we use less than 10 CTB's here, and we have totally removed all the STBs (I assume those have an effect as well) so I'm hoping that the slow plot performance you mentioned will not effect us.

    Thanks friend,
