I work in an office where one computer running Acad 14 attached to HP 650c
    prints
very fast. I think he uses the HP driver that you can configure in Acad by
    typing HPCONFIG.
I print from ADT 3.3 and the 650c always runs out of memory. Selecting print
    directly from
my computer hogs the resourses and one page can take 15 minutes. I have
    downloaded the
latest driver from HP? What to do?

    Thanks

  2. Hi Stan,

Unfortunately the 650c is no longer supported by HP. You could check there
parts surfer and see if you can get an updated firmware (chips) and see if
that will fix it. But I'm not sure if you can find any new firmware
updates. Also make sure your using the latest system drivers from the HP
WEB Site. Last but not least. In AutoCAD R14 the output was a max of 300
dpi. In AutoCAD 2000 and up you get True color and 600 X 1200 dpi out of
this device, so it can process slower.

    Hope this helps.

If you created a plt file from Acad 2004, how would you plot it from the old
machine? The old machine would have R14.

    Thanks
