sldMSchedule.exe

    Why is sldMShedule.exe logged as a current process when solidworks is not
    running, and nothing is scheduled?

    This is one of those programs SW has no control over. The easiest thing
    to do with it is to end the task, go to where it is located on your HD
    and rename it. Then it doesn't run at all. All it is for is to allow the
    installation manager to check for updates periodically and not needed.
