One thing I did notice, is that the sheet metal is greyed out, and I use
I tried sheet metal this morning and had the same problem...
    everything was greyed out.

Now for whatever reason it's no longer greyed out and I can use it.

    Strange.

Try closing VX and opening again and see if this helps you.

hey, you were right, it is no longer greyed out. perhaps it needs to mature
on the pc for a day first, lol
Grrr , first problem, we don't use k factor, but bend deduction.
If we told our shopfloor guys to use k factor, they would tell us where to
    go, very politely of course!
Oh well, back to the drawing board, lol

I am reporting this and a bunch of other stuff I found this weekend as bugs.

I'm glad it's working for you now. Don't be surprised if sheetmetal stops
working again cause mine did. LOL.

I also have requested specific training .PDF's for sheet metal. Perhaps I
can tap some of your knowledge and gain some insight into sheet metal as
I don't want to end up with a moldmakers mentality. (Gosh it's so nice that
jk keeps me in his newsgroup filter. That mentality might rub off on me.
    :>) )

Hmmm... maybe in reading www.cadchat.com that might be a split
    mentality ? ;>)

Hope to hear more from you here and on www.cadchat in the VX Forum
about what you like and don't like in VX. Would be nice to hear from
    others as well.

    www.novedge.com

Lists their prices for the following VX modules:

    VX Modeler v10.60 $1,895
    VX Mechanical v10.60 $1,895
    VX Designer v10.60 $3,495
VX Mold and Die v10.60 $5,195
    VX Machinist v10.60 $5,195
    VX End-to-End v10.60 $9,395

I tend to believe someone could do better with a
    more personal approach.

Your sliced brad is full of bugs? How very odd.
You busted it already so easily?
    Running VX now are you?

I'm certain that they will be happy to take your call, right?
Like all the other vendors .......

Better than sliced bread you say? You love the kernel you say?

    Hi Pete,

On my reqeust VX sent me an older .pdf for sheet metal today. :>) It
won't follow the current VX UI perfectly but it should get you started.

The VX sheet metal .pdf is only 27 pages but if you email me (my first
and last name at yahoo dot com.) I would be happy to send it to you...
or anyone else that would like it.
